Hello! My name is Jay Bartholomew and I'm a wannabe chef. Food is my passion, but the truth is I'm not cut out for restaurant life, working long hours, nights, and weekends. Instead, I have devoted myself to the pursuit of restaurant quality cooking at home. I'm self-taught with the simple goal of making the most delicious food, no matter how difficult the process may be. There are tricks to just about every dish and ingredient, but rarely does great food come from shortcuts.
